TLC confirms Kate gets new show

TLC has confirmed Kate Gosselin has a new TV series. A spokesperson for the network said Thursday, Novembeer 20, that Kate’s new show will launch in the spring of 2010.

Barbara Walters is getting ready to interview reality star Kate Gosselin for her 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009 television special. The show will include Adam Lambert and Jenny Sanford and will air on ABC on December 9th. The scoop first showed up on gossip.com.

Those who have never been faced with being pregnant with six babies, and the doctor telling us that "selective elimination" would be the best answer to have all "healthy babies", will never understand why Jon & Kate said NO to that and carried their six babies to a successful birth. Jon & Kate decided to put their faith in God. They prayed and prayed while Kate stayed on bed rest and followed the doctor's orders.  Jon cared for their 4 year old twins, Mady & Cara, and Kate too...a mighty task.

They were blessed with the best results possible: six healthy, adorable babies! A mighty feat for the birth of "multiples".
Yet there are still those who would dare accused them of "doing it for the money". We say shame on them for attacking Kate personally...we believe that there is some jealousy involved.  After all how many of us would look this great after having six babies at one time, even with a tummy tuck!

Things will be fine, life will go on and the kids will thrive. Sometimes all is not always black & white as some would have you believe......sometimes they are pink! You go girl!

TLC Developing show for Kate?

In the series finale Kate and the kids milk cows at a dairy farm. Jon and the kids learn about firefighting and help out at a firestation. Then, Jon and Kate speak about recent life events, the series and the ups and downs of the last few years.
Reports are that Kate will be getting her own show on TLC.  We hope they are true because someone has to provide for those adorable children. Their father, Jon seems to be a lost cause in a world of his own, we suspect it will be a very long time before he ever puts any money on the table to support his children:
With "Jon & Kate" ending, Kate Gosselin has struck a new deal with TLC to have her own show which airs under the title "Kate Plus Eight". NY Post said instead of being a regular series like "Jon & Kate", the new show will only be specials. There will be another show developed for Kate but the details are still being kept hidden.

This announcement should give the Khaters out there a good dose of heartburn.....fingers crossed.

We are happy to see Kate smiling and doing some early Christmas shopping at our personal favorite store: Target! When you have 8 kids you gotta get out there early, lol Life goes on and, no matter what, we know that  Kate is organized and a visionary!

Can you spell Irresponsible? I would not let this person "watch" my kids!

Kate plus 8?

Tomorrow night TLC will air the most favorite viewer clips from the show over the past years.  One of our favorite clips is when Kate returns home after her "tummy tuck" and makeover and the tups don't recognize her.  So sweet!  Easy to see why we love these kids and that show! Fingers crossed that TLC will go forward with the "Kate plus 8" show!

Kate Gosselin Gets Witchy on Halloween

It's no surprise that tons of trick-or-treaters donned blond helmet wigs and Ed Hardy T-shirts to become reality TV's unavoidable couple, Kate and Jon Gosselin, this past Halloween. The surprising news is that the real Kate Gosselin managed to head out with her kids – without a single photographer in sight.

"This year, she was able to go trick-or-treating without paparazzi, just like a normal mom," a friend of Kate's tells PEOPLE.
"Alexis was an adorable witch, Hannah a Spanish princess, Aaden a pirate, Collin was a Spider-Man, Leah was a kitty and Joel was Batman," says the friend. Meanwhile, 8-year-old twins Cara, a ghost, and Mady, the devil, went out with their friends instead of their sibs.

Jon accepting responsibility?

Is Jon accepting responsibility for the mess he has caused?  We think it is a public relations ploy, I mean after all, the meeting with the Rabbi was in public AND tickets were sold to those who wanted to see Jon in person, duh! 
Someone please remind Jon that "actions speak louder then words" ...We might tend to think he may be sincere if only he would get a job and support his kids.  Let us not forget he has taken away the only income the family had and the "Kate haters" would like nothing more then to see her fail at her attempts to earn a living and support those kids. We also believe Jon has encouraged the "haters" to attack her, in his own subtle way, especially when he joined forces with Jodi and Kevin. 
But for today Jon says this: "Hailey and I decided to calm things down until the divorce, just until the divorce," he said. "I don't want to ruin things with Hailey like I did with Kate. We just need to slow things down. I don't want another failure in my relationships. I don't want to make the same mistakes I made with Kate, with Hailey. I would just be repeating the pattern over again."
Hmmm, of course the fact that Hailey says that Jon is verbally abusive means nothing to him, another publicity stunt on their part is what we believe is happening here! We believe that if this doesn't work for Jon he will try something else, too bad getting a job and supporting his family is not part of the things he wants to fix..Sorry Jon but the old saying "been there, done that" applies here once again. We just aren't buying it, of course as always, this is just our humble opinion.  Only time will tell.
