Will the haters move on?

If the Kate haters and, sadly, her number one hater, Jon, get their way and stop TLC from doing anymore shows, including Kate plus 8, will the haters move on?  I doubt it but, let's face it folks, if you really care about kids then show it by going after the other TLC shows that film "their families" with "their kids".  Start with Table for 12...this show is being touted as "the replacement" for the Jon & Kate plus 8 show.  They have 2 sets of twins and 1 set of "tups"...so hurry up and load your verbal guns you Kate haters!  Of course the father isn't running around sleeping with anyone who says yes, like Kate's future ex is, and the mother is staying home cooking, cleaning etc just doing all the "traditional" things that mothers do, you guys will love that for sure. So let's see just how sincere you Kate haters really are about "protecting the kids" from all those terrible things that happen to them on TLC, like taking trips to various historic sites, visiting the sick, raising money for charities like the Ronald McDonald house, and of course playing at home with their friends. Yep let's see where the haters go once they don't have Kate to kick around anymore! HA! Something tells me they will continue to go after Kate because, for the haters, this IS PERSONAL....sad so sad.

Love her or hate her

I am still amazed at some of the posts that I read about Kate.  Seems those who hate her are so passionate about it you would think she was a truly disliked member of their family.  For those who like Kate, well we just like her because she is a hard working mother of 8 kids.  Does hard working have to mean that she is cooking and cleaning every waking moment of the day or could it also mean that she is trying to figure out a way for the kids to maintain their lifestyle (which by the way I do not think is extravagant) and continue with the doctor/dentist appointments without having to go on public assistance?  I mean let's face it nurses do make a good living but I doubt they could afford 8 kids and housing expenses without some assistance.  Especially since Jon, their father, is hell bent on stopping the show while not doing a thing to contribute a single cent to their monthly expenses, not a DIME! ... would someone please tell me what is she to do?  But the Kate haters would like nothing better then to see her in line for food stamps and, frankly, I have no clue why they would rather have us taxpayers foot the bill then to have at least one parent gainfully employed! Would someone please tell me what I am missing here? Do not think I am dumb enough to really believe that the haters are all that worried about the kids, please! If that is the case where were you for the first 5 years of their life?  No one cared until Jon started dating all those gfs and calling Kate names which resulted in "his" family being persecuted by the paps 24/7! 

The High Road

The Ellen Degeneres Show offered Kate another opportunity to take the high road and, as usual, she did not disappoint us fans!  Someone needs to be the adult in this sad situation and, thank goodness Kate is more then up to it.  We still hold out hope that TLC will see the importance of showing a Mom, in very difficult circumstances, do the best she can to give her kids a good life and move forward with the Kate show.  Especially since their father has chosen not to find gainful employment to support his 8 children. At this point I am not sure anyone would want to hire him, after all even the people we work for expect some sort of loyalty...a word not in Jon's vocabulary....only time will tell.  But I do wonder if the paps will follow Kate to the Social Services office when she has to apply for food stamps to feed her kids, not to mention Medicaid to pay for their doctor's visits...probably =/ We can add another family to America's growing list of the working poor, Kate & her 8! I wonder if her critics will think it is ok for Kate to have a nanny watch her kids when she is at the hospital working as a nurse?  Perhaps they think she should just leave them home alone?

Kate tells her side

After doing a Q & A session, last night, TLC announced that Kate would be doing an hour long special "one on one" interview with Natalie Morales, of the Today Show. The show will air next Monday, November 2 at 9 PM.
TLC will air this special as "Kate: her story": "the real story behind the mother-of-eight".  We liked the Q & A session on last night's show and we are looking forward to the November 2 addition.  The more people see Kate as a real, feeling person, we believe, the more they will like her. I mean come on people she has feelings too!

We are still wondering: when Jon will get a job and start to support "his" family; does he keep the house clean when it is "his turn" with "his" kids; does he do the laundry too?  Or does he just ride around on his tractor and sign autographs all the time he is there??? Talk about your classic deadbeat Dad!

Kate Answers Viewer's Questions

On Monday, October 26, Kate will do a one hour question & answer session for TLC.  TLC has received over 9000 questions from viewers and Kate is reviewing them and will answer as many as possible.  You may recall that October 26 is the date the judge ordered Jon to return the $180,000 he stole from the family account, or be held in contempt.  If I could ask one question of Jon it would be:  What makes you think you can take that money and call it "your paycheck"?  What about the living expenses? TLC sues Jon for breach of contract

TLC has filed suit in the Maryland Courts for breach of contract by Jon Gosselin!  "The network has been trying privately and patiently for months to get Jon to honor the contract he signed and to comply with his obligations relating to public appearances and statements," said TLC in a statement on Friday. "Those efforts have been unsuccessful."

Jon removes all the money from family account

Kate was on the "Today" show and stated that Jon has removed all the money from the family bank account leaving her virtually penniless and unable to buy food for the kids and pay the household bills!  She also stated that "with the suspension of the TLC show, at Jon's insistance, that she no longer has an income".   Ok Jon you said it was time for you to "man up" well when are you going to stop partying and get a job?  In our humble opinion we think the courts need to award custody now to Kate and put Jon somewhere where he can no longer hurt anyone else!  See the Today show video at: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/05/kate-gosselin-cant-pay-th_n_309501.html

Kate responds:

"It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests," his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, said in a statement on Thursday. "My priority remains our children and their well being."

The Insider Web site reported Thursday that Gosselin demanded through his lawyers that the TLC production crew vacate the property of the family home in Wernersville, Pa.
The Gosselins filed for divorce in June, after weeks of reports of marital discord.
In her statement, Kate Gosselin said, "I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids."
On Monday, TLC announced that the weekly series would be renamed "Kate Plus Eight," with a reduced involvement by Jon Gosselin, who remains under "an exclusive contract" with TLC.
In her statement, Kate Gosselin said, "I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn't otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show."
Gosselin's lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press.
TLC is owned by Discovery Communications, LLC.
We wonder how Jon will provide food, housing, medical care, clothing, heat,etc, etc, the list goes on and on for just the necessities, without a job and now he thinks that Kate should not have a job either! We bet his girl friends are leaving him faster then the rats jumping off a sinking ship?  Can you spell nutcase?

Statement from TLC on Jon's "erratic behavior":

"We are aware of Jon Gosselin's recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic. Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents. "

Watching his paycheck deminish Jon has decided to sue TLC, I wonder who will be buying food and medicine for the kids?

Jon's erratic behavior has just gotten worse, if that is possible.  After saying just yesterday that he wants "a pause in the divorce to make things better with Kate", he says today that the show must stop filming and he will have them arrested if they come on his property to film!  Isn't this the man who refused his wife's request to come on the property to see her kids?  Looks to us that this guy needs a shrink, quick!
